Well done on your weight loss, you look great. I remember seeing your pics on the BBC site.

Also wanted to ask if you know that some diet pill sellers on ebay are using your before and after pics, but have given you another name (Jane Hacket!)

All you need type in at ebay is Cambridge Diet, and there 'you' are...

    hi

well done , you must feel fantastic.

started lighter life in the new year but it was far to expensive with emphasis on being a victim , not for me so I stopped smoking instead , its been five months since i gave up a 20 plus aday habit for 20 years and on monday i started cambridge diet oh well 9 stone to lose but with tons more choice in flavours and a better taste plus its less than half LL price per week , i hope i can do it untill i feel me again .
I think only those that have got themselves fat can understand how you lose so much of your confidence and with me after being told i have health problems , this may keep me alive to see my kids grow up and settle.

    Hi Lisa!

I came across your blog and what can I say!!! What an inpiration, its absolutely fantastic. WELL DONE!!! Your pics are fantastic too.

I have been on LL since February and too have lost quite a lot (nearly 6 stone!) but am now questioning it mainly due to finances and the choice in packs. Am considering changing to Cambridge which it appears a lot of people do hey! Still have 4 1/2 stone to go but will definitely get there.

Also considering the business-side of things too.

Would love to keep in touch.

Hi Lisa - I've been searching for someone like you who has switched from LL to Cambridge. I did LL and lost nearly 6 stone but have put back 3 (darn it!) and would like to lose 2. I can't believe how expensive LL has become since I came off it 2 years ago - no way can I afford that! I found LL was fine but found the group sessions a real drag - I know they work brilliantly for some people but it's not my thing. Do you have group sessions in Cambridge and do you have to get a doc's signature to go ahead? Any other problems switching from one to the other?

You look fab in your wedding outfit! Keep going!!

    Best wishes
    Sue

    Hi Lisa

I came across your blog on the website, and have found it really inspirational.

I started Cambridge last Monday, but have a long way to go (10 stone). Quite impressed that I've managed to drink the water though, as that's always been a real struggle for me.

I cracked a bit last night and had a slice of pepperoni and some cheese, as I was really tired and craving food. Feel gutted that I've cheated a bit already (although my mouth still has the most revolting taste in it, so I guess I've not done enough harm to come out of Ketosis). I just wondered if you have any tips for how to conquer the urge to cheat?

Also, have you found any of the recipes that you can do with your packs any good? I tried one last night that was supposedly for chocolate fudge, but it turned out vilely.

I can't wait until the 2 week point when I can have the bars - might provide a bit of variety.

Good luck in the meantime, don't give up!
    Helen

    Hi there Lisa

I have just read your blog from start to finish and what an amazing story you have done so well you seem really happy now.

I am going to see Lin on Monday to get some information about starting Lighter Life and have a few questions I hope you can answer. I am 90% convinced I want to do it but have a few worries, reading your blog has really helped but can you answer -

    1) I have been watching 10 years younger - bikini special (have you seen it?!) and it has scared me silly that if i lose lots of weight I will end up with loose skin galore! I am 27 so a bit younger that the women on 10 years younger but if you don't mind me asking has this been a problem for you or have you found you are quite toned (don't answer if you don't want to!)

    2) Coffee! i think it will be a life saver for me but can you have all of the nice flavoured coffees you can get in whittards etc or is just plain old coffee?

    3) Do you find that you get tired and weak throughout the day?

I would really appreciate it if you could answer.

Good luck - you don't look like you have much to lose now and look like you are have a lot of fun!

    Regards
    Sarah

    Hello Lisa
Been reading your life story on lighterlife and congrats to you girl! I too lost 5 stone last summer with lighterlife, which was fab, you know the feeling! I had a break then joining cambridge and the different flavours were lush. Just be careful because the change in sweetness gave me huge cravings and sadly I have gained 3 stone back! I just can't afford to go back on lighterlife, but I do think their products helped me stay on the plan....x

    Hi Lisa
I have been following your progress since Carol (No Will Power) ref Devoted told me about this site, as I have been doing Lighter Life too since Dec 2005. I met you briefly at Reigate at Will Young s summer nights concert. I was the short fat old bird with Carol and Ali.But NO LONGER I have lost 4 stone, down 4 dress sizes and almost into some size tens. I have found your website very inspiring and it has kept me going in times of despair. I love your recipe for the caramel/choc milkshake it's absolutely gorgeous and like you have said a real life saver. At another point of giving up, around Easter time I think, I switched to Cambridge Diet after reading on here that you were thinking about it, also for financial and boredom reasons. I have found that has saved me. You have done fantastically well and look really great, keep going girl and thanks for setting up this site it has helped me loads.
Maybe I'll see you a Wembley in October.
